The skilled trades program is intended for skilled workers who want to become permanent residents based on their qualification in a skilled trade (e.g truck, drivers, industry, electricity, construction, equipment operation, natural resources, agriculture, processing, manufacturing, cooks, butchers, bakers). To be eligible, you must, among other things, have acquired at least 2 years of work experience in a skilled trade in the last 5 years.
