Provincial Nominee Program
You could get the permanent residence in Canada by using some advantageous selection criteria offered by the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). For some components of the PNP, the language proficiency levels or the proficiency levels of the National Occupational Classification (NOC) required are lower than those of the Express Entry system (federal). Being bilingual is an asset in the Express Entry system and a significant advantage in some provinces (outside Quebec) which wish to recruit candidates who speak French and English. For
example:
- The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) offers a significant advantage to bilingual candidates through its French Skilled Workers component.
- A family or friendship connection in Manitoba is a great asset to the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program. In addition, Francophones can apply under the stratégique francophone component, Invitation to Manitoba.
- The four provinces of the Atlantic (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador) through the Atlantic immigration Pilot attract skilled workers to fill a strong labor shortage in the region. Also, each of the provinces offers other interesting programs such as the New Brunswick Skilled Worker Program for transportation truck drivers and the accommodation and food services sectors.
It may be required to have a profile in the Federal Express Entry system and meet the minimum Express Entry system requirements. We will walk you through the whole process.
